So how crazy is YOUR life right now??

So how crazy busy is YOUR life right now??

As for me I'm running two businesses, keeping up with the kids, in a relationship, traveling a lot for work, maintaining the house, paying the bills, playing a little volleyball, working out, fly fishing when I can, running a major new awards contest, hanging with friends once in a while, learning to Tweet, finding a little time to meditate and read, playing with the dogs, etc, etc.  You get the picture, right?  Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining here - I know I'm truly blessed in many ways and I'm feeling healthy and balanced.  It just seems we're all juggling a lot these days, wearing a lot of hats (so to speak), and I hear all the time that people are feeling overwhelmed and out of balance.  Can you relate?

I'm really excited about leading a new Intentional YOU workshop on Sunday March 15th that goes right at this issue - it's called "Finding Life Balance Through The Tree of Me".  This one has a lot to offer to pretty much everyone that's really busy - check it out at http://peacefulcrossings.com/upcoming-life-transition-zone-events.html.   I'm co-presenting it with Leah Myers from Self Works (http://www.selfworks.org) and this is the first of a series of three collaborative workshops we're presenting together.  If you aren't familiar with Leah or Self Works you might want to take a few minutes and  see what they're about!

I fully get the irony of trying to fit a four-hour workshop into your crazy busy schedule, but keeping it all in balance is possible if you're living from your core and making intentional decisions about how and where you spend your time and energy.  This is an important topic and a worthwhile investment!   If this sound like something you could benefit from please go pre-register online soon, and if you know anyone else that needs it then please share this or pass it along.

Namaste!

At the very 1st, I’d favor to state thanks to you for this enlightening article. Second, I'd prefer to wonder wherever I can learn a lot more info concerning your post. I arrived right here via Bing and can't discover any associated web websites connected to this matter. How do I sign for your web blog? I had prefer to stick to your updates as they arrive along! I'd a query to interrogate but I forgot what it absolutely was... anyways, thank you very much.

Hi Good essay service,

Thanks for the note. Let me start by saying I'm not even close to being qualified to decide if that would be crazy or not, or judging if anything you do is good, bad, or crazy. There's only one person qualified to do that and that is you. That said I can share a couple ways of thinking about crazy from my own perspective.

First, there's a old quote that rings true: "the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result." There's a ton of truth in that, and I like to tweak it slightly to make it "the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again THE SAME WAY and expecting a different result." Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but I know I've done essentially the same thing in different ways and gotten very different results.

Second, I'm a big believer in getting to know yourself very well, having very clear values and priorities, and holding yourself accountable for living in line with them. For me, crazy shows up as saying or doing things that are out of alignment with my values and priorities and expecting that my heart and soul will be okay with it. I'm an aquarius and have the skills to rationalize just about anything in my head, but my heart and soul are much better judges of what's crazy and what isn't - for me.

So, do either of those things apply for you in deciding if the 6 months is crazy?

Namaste,

Cal
